Trend Alert! Meet the Hottest Colors for Spring (and How to Style in Every Shade!)
If you had any doubts about whether you should toss that neon yellow pashmina in the bottom of your drawer, time to banish them for good (the doubts, that is). According to the latest trend report from the Pantone Color Institute, 16 hues will guide fashion trends in the spring – and a hefty number of them are anything but neutral.
According to Pantone, feelings of optimism and confidence are driving a shift toward vibrant self-expression, with more people pulling for eye-catchers over tried and true beige and black. For coast lovers, this is welcome news. (What pairs better with ocean views than a whole lot of beachy brights?)
The Dazzling Dozen
Twelve core hues make up Pantone's trend-driven palette, from bold shades of rich violet and blue-tinged green to slightly more understated hues of rose and peach.
The New Classics
In addition to its 12 core shades, Pantone also released a four-color classic palette, consisting of color mainstays like Sailor Blue and Warm Sand that are meant to ground a wardrobe or room against its bolder counterparts.
Ready to bring these trendy hues home? Here are 10 finds inspired by Pantone's palette that will set you and your home up for a stylish spring.
